Frédéric Blondy

Frédéric Blondy is a French pianist, organist, composer, improviser and artistic director whose work crosses contemporary, experimental, improvised, electronic and electroacoustic music. His practice is centred on sound, collective listening and the border between composition and improvisation.

In 2011 he founded ONCEIM, the Orchestra of New Musical Creation, Experimentation and Improvisation, which he continues to direct. His 2026 activity includes residencies, workshops and performances across Europe, with appearances at Concertgebouw Brugge, Donaueschinger Musiktage and the Venice Music Biennale.
