Matthias Bauer
Matthias Bauer is a Berlin-based double bassist, improviser and composer. His practice includes a broad solo repertoire for double bass, free improvisation, contemporary music and his own solo work combining bass and voice.
His current projects include Alchimia Organica, Bauer/Bauer/Narvesen, SOG, Unzeit Quartett and other Berlin-based ensembles. Bauer also composes for chamber groups, theatre and dance.
