Oliver Schwerdt was born in Eisenach in 1979. As the two pianists J.S. Bach and J. Kühn before he moved from the small Thuringia town to Leipzig. Since 1999 Schwerdt has developed EUPHORIUM Productions as a basement for Contemporary Improvised Music & Creative Jazz, Dada Scenes there. A major activity is Schwerdts work as a musicologist exploring free improvised musical structures as culturelly relevant strategies of designing space.
