Christophe Berthet

Christophe Berthet is a Swiss saxophonist and composer whose work sits between jazz, contemporary music and experimental improvisation. He has developed projects as both performer and organiser within the Swiss improvised-music scene.

He created and directed Le Grand Frisson, an eight-piece improvising ensemble documented by Creative Sources, and has worked with musicians including Gerry Hemingway, Michel Wintsch, Patricia Bosshard, Yannick Barman, Cyril Bondi and Vinz Vonlanthen.
