I started playing the trombone in 1989 and commenced live solo improvisations in 1996. Since then I have collaborated with many of Tokyo's foremost improvisors and formed my wind group 'fuigo' with Kanji Nakao (sax,cl),Takero Sekijima(tuba).
I am also a member of Itokens strange monophonic easy-listening group 'Zuppa di pesce', and SHIBUSASHIRAZU orchestra amongst other projects.
Collaborators include: Taku Sugimoto,Tetuzi Akiyama,Toshimaru Nakamura, Taku Unami, Masafumi Ezaki, Kazuhisa Uchihashi (altered states etc), Thomas Lehn, Hugh Davis, Axel Dörner ...
From April 2003, I moved and stayed in Germany until April 2004.
I am working now based on Tokyo, Japan.
